What to Expect
Morning Worship Service
Our Sunday morning worship service begins at 9:30 a.m. When you arrive, greeters at the door will be glad to help you find nurseries, children’s rooms, the sanctuary, or anything else you need. In the nurseries, our qualified childcare staff provides a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for your children. Each service, we worship Christ with a heartfelt combination of prayers, songs, and Scripture. You’ll then hear God’s Word clearly preached through a sermon from one of our other pastors or elders.
After the morning service, you'll find coffee in the lobby and enjoy a time of fellowship before we begin our Electives at 11 a.m. As we seek to grow together, our church family pursues instruction and relationships. Shepherding Groups are the key structures for building relationships, but Sunday morning at 11:00 Electives are the primary time for instruction. We gather in a variety of classes to learn practical ways we can grow in our walk with Jesus and in our relationships with each other. Electives run for a varying period of time (six or twelve weeks), and our calendar year is divided into three sections or trimesters (winter/spring, summer, and fall) with breaks scheduled between. During the adult Electives, children, middle school, and high school students meet according to their grades.
Shepherding Groups meet on the 1st and 3rd Sunday evenings in homes around the area, and we have Evening Prayer on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month at 5:30 pm in the Sanctuary. These are vital opportunities in the life of the church. Don’t miss out on the relationships and encouragement that come through both of these times.
