Welcome to Men’s Ministries at Heritage. Come be a part of our program for men of all ages. Participating in our range of events and activities gives you the opportunity to get to know other men in the church, grow in Christ, and reach out to our community.
Men’s Ministries flows out of our church mission to glorify God, equip saints, and gather disciples. We desire that our men be strong in the Lord and encourage one another in love and good works.
The emphasis and diversity of our activities reflect our desire to encourage men to pray, learn and obey biblical teachings, and utilize their gifts and abilities within our church family as well as our community. Activities include testimony breakfasts, topical instruction, community service opportunities, ministry projects, and recreational events.
MEN'S FALL BIBLE STUDY
The Fall 2017 study of the book of Colossians uses a tool called “One-to-One Bible Reading.” This program is a simple way of getting people together in pairs or in small groups to read God’s Word, discuss it, and pray for one another. Since Pastor Trent is preaching through Colossians, this study will allow a deeper dive into the letter which our entire church family is hearing from each Sunday.
Bible Study meets on Thursday mornings, September 14 - October 19 at 6:00 am. We watch a brief video, split into discussion groups, and dive into the Word and prayer.
Grow along with your brothers as we pursue Christ together! Books are available at sign up in the Hudson Road lobby extension on Sundays, September 3 and 10 or in the office. The cost is $8 per book.
Even if you cannot attend on Thursday mornings, sign-up anyway or contact the office. We want you to participate with another brother or group of brothers at a time that works for you. If you sign-up, we will send you the video links, materials, and questions for our study through Colossians.
Let’s grow in the Word together.
